Through funding from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation and support from Arts Council England the LOV Young People's Programme is engaging young people aged 12-25 in a range of projects and opportunities to give them the chance to be audience members, artists, producers and programmers within our venues...

We are more than halfway through a 3 year programme and we have been talking to and listening to local young people and the organisations that work with them, to find out the best ways to work with young people and get them involved in the programme and to look at how we can best support them to make a genuine contribution to our venues..a mini arts festivals in Stamford and Grantham to regular music nights in Lincoln and Spalding, regular groups commissioning artists and bringing in young audiences, putting on the first un-ticketed and free events for young people at some of our venues, commissioning new work by young people to be projected on the side of the Usher Gallery or to commission work for young people by internationally acclaimed theatre companies...

We have achieved a lot and learnt a lot; not only about how we can work with young people but also how we can work together as a network and with external organisations..our Opportunities pages to see our job opportunities, professional development and arists commissions available across the network.

More information on the ten venues that make up the network can be found in the drop down menu on the right of this page....

As a network we are keen to share our learning - from our young people's programme and from working as a consortium - and all the experience we have gained by working together since 2005.

By working together, LOV can support and create new work, help promote local talent and give the people of Lincolnshire more opportunities to get involved with events going on in the county.

Over the past three years Lincolnshire One Venues (LOV) has been developing a brand new way of working.

Not only are we challenging how venues and cultural organisations work together to become stronger and more adaptable in the current economic climate but we are also looking to the future, making sure that the county's arts venues are supporting young people to be part of the cultural landscape in Lincolnshire and to create a culture shift amongst young people, schools and families in the way they access and perceive what we offer.

Cherry Tree Bed and Breakfast: new-style comfort, old-style hospitality. We have recently been under going renovations so we now have 6 en suite rooms. Willoughby Lodge was built in 1892 and is set in the quiet village of Silk Willoughby close to Sleaford.

The venues jointly commission new work (both visual and performance) each year to be toured across Lincolnshire and beyond.
